May 3, 2009 - World Laughter Day

Tucson Laughter Club is celebrating its fifth year with a big bang!

“World Laughter Day” was created in 1998 by Dr Madan Kataria, founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement. The celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive manifestation for health, happiness and world peace, and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter. Its popularity has grown exponentially with that of the Laughter Yoga movement (now counting over 5000 Laughter Clubs worldwide across five continents).

“World Laughter Day” is now organized on the first Sunday of May every year. Such an enthusiastic participation is proof that Laughter Clubs are not a laughing matter.

Note: Please note that we will be filming this event for a documentary being produced by a director in Norway.

Only the first 200 members and their guests will be allowed to attend. Please RSVP to Venetta (vlea@att.net) by May 2 so that we have an accurate count of how many people are coming.
